Rings
1. They are able to form 1000M/S Fiber-optic Ring, 100M/S Fiber-optic Ring and 100M/S Twisted-pair Ring.
2. Any ring above is allowed to connect with other Fiber-optic Rings. The interconnection of several Fiber-optic Rings will form Ring Topology, complementing Star Topology.
3. The flexible interface mode makes it possible for multimode optical interface to cover up to 5 km and mono-mode to cover as far as 30 km or further.
4. The exclusive technology of industrial Ethernet, integrating the products of different models into a ring and selecting the equipment models as needed, is more than enough to meet the field requirements.
5. The revolutionary photoelectric hybrid-ring technology leads the way in Fiber-optic redundant-ring technology. Through painstaking efforts, the researchers of Kyland Telecom have developed a new photoelectric hybrid-junction technology, which is able to adapt the distance variation between different control points. As shown in Fig.1-2 below, where it is less than 100 meters within a redundancy ring, ring exchangers with electronic interface are selected; where it is not less than 5 km, mono-mode or multimode interfaces may be adopted flexibly. Finally, a redundancy ring is established with both optical and electronic interfaces available. The switching time to the redundancy system takes only 300ms, which optimizes design solutions while effectively saving you money.
6. The dual-ring redundancy technique is available to meet your more demanding requirements in security. Of the interconnected two rings—the main ring and backup ring--if a problem occurs in any link of the main ring, the main ring will start up its redundant function; if the main ring falls into trouble, the communication will be switched to the backup ring automatically. In case that the backup ring shuts down again, it will start up its redundancy to maintain communication. Dual-ring backup provides extra redundancy to the origninal redundancy, so that the security of the network system is improved significantly, as shown in Fig.1-1.
7. The different series of optical communication products, which conform to industrial design standards and form a hierarchical product structure, are aimed at meeting your different demands.

In case of problems with either ring, the system is able to switch the workload taken by the faulty ring to the other automatically within the prescribed time. The two sets of host stations are redundant to each other during the hot standby mode, switching automatically, as assures the security and reliability of the whole system.
